The concept of the three mediums where wars are fought is obviously borrowed from the USMC hymn, but that is where we have a disconnect The three types of vehicles here were not all common to the USMC. To top that off, you did not get all three of these into any one war. The top two, you could go Korea, but the tank's markings could use some added artwork decals to differ it from typical WW2 armor. Since the PT boat was a WW2 phenomena, either it does not belong in a Korean war set, or the helicopter is "out of sync" for WW2. To bring it into sync for WW2, the P-39 Airacobra would have been a better.

It's great to see these old classics together in one set. I had built each of these in the past and getting them together is a plus. The set is a good value, too. For beginners, the kit offers a bit of variety in terms of complexity, too, with the helicopter being more basic, and the PT boat having a lot of small parts.
