Description
1/48 Scale. To continue the 1/48 Auto series this kit comes from the old Revell tooling with the multi part cab. We have updated the kit by cutting a new mold for the clear parts. This is a big improvement as it never had any windshield and always looked like something was missing. It also features new artwork and updated decals. Skill level 2. A great addition to any O Scale Train layout.

'55 Chevrolet Stake Truck
With a very convincing 2 tone wood finish this kit builds up into a real decent model truck. The clear plastic for the glass gives the model a more convincing appearance. It is tricky to align the cab pieces. I left the cab unpainted and polished the blue plastic to a gloss finish. If I could give this kit 4 1/2 stars if it were possible.

1955 Chevrolet 6409 Stake Truck
A little difficult to align the 6 pieces that make up the cab of this 1955 Chevrolet. Easy to paint, quality features, and a excellent compliment to the White/Fruehauf tanker truck combination. Nice detailed Chevy engine.
