Updated reissue of classic Revell stand. I would give it five stars if the ball had also been molded in clear plastic. A lot of older Revell kits issued in the 80's omitted the stand and they really display best with it.A very welcome accessory for my older and yet to be built kits!

These are the best of the vintage display stands that were included in model airplane kits back in the 1950s. And, it's great to see them available individually. The set includes not only the base, but the ball swivel that you glue to an aircraft (airplane, helicopter, space ship) to mount it onto the stand. The stands can be used on a desktop or shelf, or hung on a wall and will hold a model outward or upward. The stands are good for the old box scale planes, and kits up to something like a 1/48 World War 2 fighter plane like the P-39.
