Fireball Dragster 1/25 Scale Plastic Model Kit

Outstanding kit!. Very little flash or mold lines. Will build into a nice model of a 1960s dragster.

This is a Great blast from the past. This is a nice simple to build kit. I admit that most of mine isn’t currently painted due to high humidity. It can cause paint to blush or leaves what appears to be a fog on it. The engine and blower assembly are seamed in the middle. A little sanding will remove any irregularities in fit. I used Tamiya rubber colored paint on the tires which were painted ( Note: there is no rubber or chrome parts ). The beauty of the kit is it’s simplicity and we now have bare metal foil, paints etc that will enhance this models appearance. 5 stars Atlantis, keep it up.

For the age of the kit, this is an excellent offering! I was very surprised by the crispness and flash free nature of the castings. The only thing that might need updating would be the front wheels. They kinda look like wagon wheels, but I also understand that they are what came in the original kit. Also, one frame rail was short shotted in the process, but Atlantis let me know ahead of time and I was able to request a replacement part. The parts department was lightning fast and very courteous, just the best! Highly recommend this kit, especially of you are anyway interested in vintage model kits and vintage drag subjects. Keep up the good work!!
