U.S.S. Wisconsin BB-64 Iowa-Class Battleship Plastic Model Kit

Build one of the last and most powerful battleships ever constructed for the United States Navy with the U.S.S. Wisconsin BB-64 Iowa-Class Battleship plastic model kit from Atlantis Models.

This classic 1:665 scale battleship kit measures approximately 16 inches long when complete and includes 81 parts. Molded in gray, the kit comes with updated decals and detailed instructions. It is a great choice for naval modelers, World War II enthusiasts, U.S. Navy collectors, and anyone building a classic battleship fleet.

The real U.S.S. Wisconsin BB-64, often nicknamed “Big Wisky,” was an Iowa-class battleship commissioned in April 1944. Built at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, she joined the Pacific Fleet later that year and served in the final campaigns of World War II. Wisconsin supported major operations around Iwo Jima and Okinawa and later helped shell targets in the Japanese home islands before the war ended.

Wisconsin continued her long service after World War II. She was recommissioned during the Korean War, where she provided naval gunfire support for United Nations and South Korean forces. Decades later, she was modernized and returned to service again for Operation Desert Storm, making her one of the few battleships to serve across World War II, Korea, and the Gulf War.

Today, the real U.S.S. Wisconsin is preserved as a museum ship at Nauticus in Norfolk, Virginia, where visitors can walk the decks of this legendary warship.
